The Mobility Of Cordless Digital Picture FramesDigital picture frames are one of the hottest items as far as electronics go nowadays and they are moving on most retailers' shelves. While the price is still fairly steep ($200-500 for a quality frame) there are a lot of consumers out there willing to pay it in order to enjoy slideshow picture frames. While the frames are unique as they are, there has recently been a change toward making them even better; they are going cordless! A cordless digital picture frame is one that works entirely off of battery life and WiFi technology. They can access the Internet quickly, you can log in online and change pictures from your computer (without wires connecting the two items!) and you can even wireless flip through pictures using a tiny remote control! These picture frames are taking the technology to an entirely different level and buyers love it! While many people believe these are the best digital picture frames they are the furthest from the cheapest. Most cordless machines run over 50% more then one with wires. But how do you know if you are getting a good deal or not with these cordless digital picture frames? Here is a closer look at a few of the picture frames available: I-Mate Momento Digital Frame: The I-Mate, as it is known, is a 7 inch digital frame which is clear to the eye yet has a great resolution (800 X 480). You can use it in nearly any way you want, from landscape to portrait and with Windows Vista or XP. It has several advancements which are pretty impressive, especially for a cordless frame. First, it can use video (pictures/ videos) and audio (MP3's) but it can also use voice recordings so if you want to talk to your slideshow of pictures you can! The frame works with nearly any SD card or memory stick. Coby DP772 Digital Frame: This frame by Coby is also a 7 inch LCD lit screen and it supports pictures that are both JPEG and BMP. Outside of playing regular MP3 files it can play AVI and WMA as well. This digital picture frame is a little different from others because of its LCD screen. Sure other screens use LCD (which is the usual laptop screen) but the Coby frame uses LCD backlighting which makes all pictures and video seem brighter and clearer. Kodak Easy Share Frame: This Kodak digital picture frame also works off of wireless/ cordless capabilities and it gives a bigger screen, yet heavier body. The LCD screen is 8 inches and the frame itself weighs an impressive 3.8 pounds. This Kodak frame is known for its 128 MB internal memory, its small remote control and its WiFi ability to move pictures from computer to frame without ever plugging in. This works especially well if you give the frame as a present to someone who is not as technically advanced as you (grandparents?!). You can change the pictures on their frame for them from hundreds of miles away just by logging into their account online!
